SC DSS / Childcare

Coastal Academy is honored to partner with the South Carolina Department of Social Services (SC DSS) Division of Early Care and Education and SC Childcare to support their mission of making childcare more accessible, affordable, and of higher quality for parents and children across the state. Collaborating with the SC DSS, our academy aligns with their various programs, including Child Care Licensing for safety compliance, ABC Quality for voluntary quality improvement, and the Child Care Scholarships Program to aid low-income families. By actively participating in these initiatives, Coastal Academy contributes to the broader goal of enhancing early care and education standards in South Carolina.

SC CCR&R

Coastal Academy proudly collaborates with SC Child Care Resource & Referral (SC CCR&R) to enhance the quality of early care and education (ECE) in South Carolina. As a dedicated team of experienced ECE professionals, SC CCR&R connects families with essential tools for informed childcare decisions. Coastal Academy's partnership ensures families receive customized referrals, utilizing financial assistance options like the SC DSS Child Care Scholarship Program. Through SC CCR&R's support, our academy engages in professional development opportunities, receiving training, technical assistance, and coaching to elevate the standard of care for South Carolina's children. Together, we actively participate in community initiatives, fostering awareness and addressing ECE needs statewide.

Coastal Academy is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking partnership with ABC Vouchers, commencing in January 2024! As a participant in the ABC Child Care Program, our academy welcomes families seeking quality childcare support. The program, administered by the South Carolina Department of Social Services, assists those working, in school, or in a training program. Coastal Academy, already Quality Rated, ensures top-notch care for children of all backgrounds.
